OPI and China Glaze Comparison

China Glaze Mummy May I on index and middle and OPI Merry Midnight on ring and pinky. They are almost dupes with slight differences. China Glaze has a jelly dark purple base with small fuchsia glitter while OPI has a purple violety base with multicolor, multidimension glitter particles. For China Glaze I used two coats and for OPI I used three coats. As I said in the previous post, the application for China Glaze was a little bit tricky, while for OPI, the application was flawless. On the nails, they look almost the same. So it is up to you to decide.

  1. I prefer Merry Midnight for the flakies, but they're both very pretty.

  2. I prefer Merry Midnight too, it looks like it would be darker based on the bottle, but it's lighter and gorgeous.

  5. I think I prefer Opi.
I just apply Mummy may I, and was a pain, hate the formula, pretty at the end, but worth the hassle? :(
The only jewel of this collection is Zombie Zest, I think.
