China Glaze Mummy May I on index and middle and OPI Merry Midnight on ring and pinky. They are almost dupes with slight differences. China Glaze has a jelly dark purple base with small fuchsia glitter while OPI has a purple violety base with multicolor, multidimension glitter particles. For China Glaze I used two coats and for OPI I used three coats. As I said in the previous post, the application for China Glaze was a little bit tricky, while for OPI, the application was flawless. On the nails, they look almost the same. So it is up to you to decide.

I prefer Merry Midnight for the flakies, but they're both very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Merry Midnight too, it looks like it would be darker based on the bottle, but it's lighter and gorgeous.

Great comparison, they are both great but I think I prefer Mummy May!
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer Opi.
ReplyDeleteI just apply Mummy may I, and was a pain, hate the formula, pretty at the end, but worth the hassle? :(
The only jewel of this collection is Zombie Zest, I think.
