This is not your usual foil. It has fine coppery glitter disseminated throughout the polish. It is a gorgeous polish, but for me, it doesn't work because it is too shy. I need strong, bold colors, I need bling bling that will scream "In your face!" things like that. So, I layered it with the Muppets glitters and the result is amazing (which I'm going to show in my next post).



OPI Muppets Glitters Over OPI Warm & Fozzie

I layered some of the OPI Muppets glitters over OPI Warm & Fozzie and the result is not fabulous but it does look good. I don't understand why the big, hexagonal, silver glitters photograph blue in the sun. Any way, from thumb to pinky: OPI Gone Gonzo, OPI Divine Swine, OPI Fresh Frog Of Bel Air, OPI Gettin Miss Piggy With It.

OPI Warm & Fozzie From The Muppets Collection 2011

Hi everyone! I know that I haven't been posting for a while now. I could find thousands of excuses, but the truth is I did not feel like posting anything. Maybe, the real reason is that my nails broke and every time I tried growing them again, they broke off. Now, they are better but one of them still has that tendency to break.

I have a lot of older photos that I would like to show you. First, I would like to finish the OPI Muppets Collection and show you how wonderful the glitters are layered over the foils.

So let us start with OPI Warm & Fozzie, a brown foil with very fine coppery green glitter. I love this nail polish and it suits my skin tone perfectly. I don't like brown coloured nail polish or clothes so I did not expect to like it as much as I do.

OPI Gettin Miss Piggy With It From The Muppets Collection 2011

OPI Gettin Miss Piggy With It is a bright red with small red glitter and big silver and red hexagons in a clear base. It can be worn alone but if you layer it, it will look stunning. This is two coats.

OPI Rainbow Connection From The Muppets Collection

This is a very fun polish. It would definitely suit summer or winter alike. A very bright and happy polish to make your day! :) It is also very useful for layering.

Index and Middle: 2 coats.

Ring and Pinky: 1 coat.

OPI Gone Gonzo From The Muppets Collection 2011

OPI Gone Gonzo is a light blue with small blue glitter and big silver hexagons in a clear base.

This is my favourite from the Muppets Collection. It can be worn alone or layered.

OPI Glitters From Hell - OPI Divine Swine From The Muppets Collection 2011

OPI glitters from The Muppets Collection, are wonderful, especially when they are layered on top of other polishes. On their own, they are still beautiful. BUT, when it comes to removing them, they are glitters from hell. I have never experienced such hard work to remove a glitter nail polish, especially the big, hexagons. I think they kill the joy of wearing glitter nail polish.

OPI Divine Swine is a washed out purple with small pink and purple glitters and big silver hexagons in a clear base.

Nubar Purple Aster From The Spring Garden Collection 2011

Nubar Purple Aster is a dusty lilac with a fine shimmer. This is 2 coats taken in indoor light. This is one of the most beautiful lilacs that I own!

Nubar Baby Sprout from The Spring Garden Collection

I absolutely love this colour!! Nubar did a really good job with this one. It is very well pigmented and you only need two coats to achieve full coverage. This colour is a really unique, pale mint green. Just beautiful.

OPI Steady As She Rose From The Pirates of The Caribbean Collection

This is a dusty pink polish with a tinge of lavander which gives its lovely colour. I applied China Glaze Matte Magic topcoat on my ring finger as you can see below. The Matte Magic topcoat makes it look quite dull and chalky in my opinion. I think that if you want maximum beauty and shimmer with this colour, you have to apply a glossy topcoat to maintain its natural and wonderful finish.

I thought I'd experiment with some crackle polishes today. And the outcome came out pretty good as you can see below.

Nubar Knight Armor And OPI Yodel Me On My Cell

This is how I wear my nail polish. I don't use the same color for all my nails at once. Either I alternate the colors or I use one color on my right hand and another color on my left hand. People get confused, especially when I wear green on one hand and China Glaze Purple Panic on the other hand. How do you wear your nail polish?

Nubar Pink Lily From The Spring Garden Collection

Nubar Pink Lily is a light pink with a slight tinge of peach. It has a very fine silver shimmer and the application was perfect in just two coats. I like it a lot.

OPI DS Opulence

OPI DS Opulence is a pink-mauve nail polish with holographic shimmer. It is gorgeous and very flattering on my nails. The application was perfect in just two coats. You can still find this nail polish in stores.
